I think what Febbos is saying in post # 35 is that the score after 90 mins is the determining score in the cup match. If not, you've eliminated 1/3 of possible final results (a DRAW), which doesn't occur in non-cup games.
I may have misunderstood Febbos explanation however !

That's exactly what he means. I'm just amusing myself by being a pendant and pointing out that the 90 minute score isn't the end of the game! There will be added time. Take no notice. I am just entertaining myself with my stunning wit.

Another layer of confusion. There's "added time" and there's "extra time" and "penalty shoot-out time". Added time is the time the ref has stopped his watch for injuries, VAR review etc.
Fergie always argued that refs didn't add enough or added too much of the latter. 90 minutes is all that should be played in total for the first & second halves.

My sleeping patterns are all over the map.
Biggest problem today is I'm having problems with iFollow - bloody useless customer service & tech support - been 2 months now (and they keep taking my payments !). I only want the audio broadcast commentary, which worked up to mid September, but now I can't get the option. Contacting City to unravel the problem is even worse. I need to phone the marketing head to put a squeeze on 'em .
Bastards. BBC text only I'm afraid.

Nailed on for a draw in Shrewsbury now, only prediction that nobody has

Stop this competition now!!!! We have all been over enthusiastic and City have been abysmal since it started. I put us down for six wins! Stop it and we'll start playing well again.

I would have edited all my predictions after that Oxford game, but I’ll do the last 2.

Faith has been restored in McCant after this week.
 
Seeing as i've no faith in one plan Mccann, I let my heart rule my head with my positive forecasts, I just can't put City down to lose.
 
90 % sure that @ Sir Cheshire Ben is the winner of this miserable tournament that has put a jinx on the team
Don't think anyone can catch him in the last round, regardless of result

Currently 9 goals in total
Plum is the only one that could surpass him, but they've got the same prediction
Ben will win on total goals if someone gets their result spot on.
