That's an impissibolity. Cheddar is a UK product. The clue is in the name. It's down Brizzle way. Perhaps they mean cheeses like Comte. Worth the extra 57% in my book. Same as a Merc is infinitely preferable to a Datsun. Worth the extra cost.

This is the BBC saying on importing it to the UK, you thick drugged up ******

if we’re planning to impose 57% tariffs on cheddar imports from the EU (you’ve almost certainly got that wrong but I’ll indulge you), how do you think they will respond? And who do you think will be worst affected by such a restraint on trade?

Think about it (doubt that’ll help much)

UK imports 15% Cheddar cheese, but is falling fast, as we are buying UK Cheddar cheese more.

Cheddar cheese is a generic name, even though it was originated in Cheddar, Somerset

"What is more problematic is that the current government has no vision and concrete funding plans to support a prosperous future for the country. Their only perceivable objective is unearned wealth for themselves and their cronies.

This is not inevitable. It is perfectly possible to have a competent and visionary government in the UK with widespread prosperity for the population and minute levels of poverty. We can be as prosperous as the Scandinavian countries. But the hurdles to get such a government into power are high as long as much of the mediascape is in the hand of greedy, evil people with huge sense of entitlement."

It will be interesting to see how long it takes from the arrest of the first fishing boat to the blockade of ports and the tunnel.

If I want cheese I’ll buy what’s made in the UK. Cheddar is on the West Country then there’s Leicester or I could chose Caerphilly and that’s just for starters.

How quaint.

Do you think they make cheeses specifically in those places? How much cheddar do you think they make in Cheddar?

(I'll give you a clue, it's not much)
