I commented on this on the Swans board last night.
The pitch was replaced summer 2019 to bring in line with the playing surfaces at their training ground.
It appears to have been a very poor job and the fans are very unhappy. Especially as they had one of the best pitches in the league not so very long ago.

The original Desso pitch which had come to the end of its life. So instead of replacing with the same Desso system, they have replaced it with the same system used at the training grounds which is fine when you have multiple pitches and your rotate the usage.
Funny enough the club are advertising for two additional ground staff.
Talk is as well that Cooper has been using the Liberty for some training sessions, so this might not have helped either.
It will need ripping up end of season.

That would be the only hope you lot would have of not having your arses handed to you live on TV to the whole country. I didn’t realise until today watching the game just how terrible a brand of hoofball you try to play. You were lucky to get Nil today, Outplayed, outfought and outclassed from start to finish by your biggest rivals. I’m surprised that any of you buy tickets to watch that ****e. You’re in desperate need of a new manager because Harris will never change his style
