Yeah they would, to watch the next side that was doing well. was it not so long ago they were struggling to sell out for LC/EL games before they added the kfc box? Anyways, loads, 99.9% of us knew it was just a nice run. Then the old record sucked the reds in as it topped the charts. got Carlo in, Danny Murphy said he isn’t the right fit, so we must be doing well.
Watched it with my old man, was a decent game until var kept on taking fuking loks at thing for what felt like ****ing ages at a time. The goal they score with the confusion about were they checking for offside or the foul was just ridiculous. Felt like the most stop start game I've ever seen tbh
Youre not in Europe and sit in fukin 12th ya damn peasant. *sighs*... Honestly Come the end.. Everyone fuking knows the highlight of your campaign will be beating us 2-2 and ending vvds season. If we lose the title by 2 points you'll not shut up about how Everton stopped the redshite retaining the league. #standard
who said we didn’t expect to be good, challenge for the league...no. push to improve, play better football, get in better players...yes.
We’re 9th as it goes, but we don’t expect facts from a plassie like you, who doesn’t even like football. Nice 4am rant though, you’ve really shown how not bothered you were there.
Tbh i think it's difficult for the plastics to get passionate about the club, compared to fans who have a local connection. I followed Chelsea around long before Roman came, and I would still follw them if he left. Most plastics are just glory hunters tbf. I mean, how many Liverpool fans on here are from Liverpool? Not many I reckon.
Don’t think you have to be local to not be a glory hunter. Nobody at my primary school supported Watford and Arsenal would have been most popular helped by them winning at the time but Spurs were second and they were dross back then. Not everyone has a father figure to guide them on this important life-defining decision when a young child.
I didn't have a father figure to guide me. My dad hated football. It was common sense to me to follw my nearest team. Too obvious maybe.
Bit of a sweeping generalisation. Like calling you a massive gammon just because some middle-aged Chelsea fans happen to be right wing flag-shaggers who don’t let black people onto trains. Kids now and throughout the Prem/Sky era have consumed football as kids in a completely different way to people 40+. Of course we should all still mock the Matths of this world who latch onto a successful team despite never stepping foot within 100 miles of the stadium but it’s not really an option now for a young kid to just skip down to the local team and get in for a sixpence and still have change for a pie in the same way as back then. You must have grown up round the corner from the ground if Chelsea was your local though.
It's just a fact mate. You have no backbone. Just the way it is. Also, we are still tarred with the same brush anyway. And yes, Chelsea were my local team.
I’m nails mate and the only other millennials here are Sucky, Bobby and Libby so clearly our generation is hard as ****.
