I'm not convinced he will be able to play at the next level.
His first touch is often a 5 yard pass and he needs to work on his end product.

Hugely talented at this level though.

Managed to hold on to a point despite the puzzling substitutions. Our 2 best players on the ball tonight Chair and Carrol taken off for league one average players after which we couldn’t hold on to the ball and almost lost the game. I’ve always said Warbs Warburton has to stay but beginning to sway at the moment.

Nervey last 10 mins for us and the players.
Another small step in the right direction ie towards safety.

Crazy thing is that a simple run of three wins takes to a sniff at 6th. Unlikely sadly.

Chair brilliant but so was Romeo to be fair.

    We lumbar on.

I’ve not noticed much wrong with his attitude. Seemed to put a shift in tonight.

How many times are you going to score from playing in Dykes though?

2 points dropped there, super goal from Chair who was all over them like a rash, chances missed that should have put it to bed. Millwall's subs offered us the opportunity to catch them on the counter but MW takes off the two players who were likeliest to take advantage. We can't keep on giving up winning opportunities like this...

Agree he can be so frustrating at times. He needs to learn that you don’t need to take on every player as a simple pass also works.

He's not quick enough, otherwise he's good.

Millwall might think the same, they were the better team 1st half and again after our subs were made. We played well only for about 20 minutes at the start of the 2nd half when we could/ should have gone 2 up. Our best player was arguably Dieng again.

I have red the comments, didnt see or listen to match in the hope that this will bring the team a bit of luck: However, Millwall used their allocation of 5 subs - just wondering why we didn't use all of ours. Would have thought that "fresh legs" would have helped get the win.

The subs we brought on didn't do much. Thomas in particular was giving the ball away. Hopefully, he's better than that generally

Many a QPR signing has made a poor start and gone on to great things but I’m not terribly hopeful on this one. He’s rather... stocky.

He doesn't seem to have done much in his career. The Welsh camp seem to think he's OK. We'll give him a chance. The substitutes didn't work well last night

Im just surprised that as we have 5 subs, we didn't take advantage of this additional source.

Maybe having seen how well the 2 he made did, he decided against making any more.

I was yes. While we don't know the physical state of the players, he took off the 2 who were causing them most trouble, and put on 2 who did little. Though maybe he thought Thonas would do a job helping at least one of our backs prevent crosses coming in for their big forwards, and Bonne would keep them occupied st the back. Think Albert or Willock would have done the second job better.

He’s tried Bonne in the “just run about a bit and hassle the defence” role before and it’s never worked but think that says more about his lack of options. Then again he was the one who chose to let Smyth go out on loan who would be ideal for that.
