Kick it out is not large enough to cover other sports. In theory it is there for all the millions involved in football and in areas beyond racism e.g. discrimination and disability. There is a point right there. BLM takes away focus from areas where massive improvement can still be made.

kick it out is not an organised entity .. it is a movement … peeps within "voluntarily give their time to address youngsters] Grandson played rugby they had a session from a senior player from a major Bristol team … also plays football had nothing!
As much as I would like the world to wake up to it's hatred of anything and everything I fear that it will never happen. All of these programmes and initiatives to stamp out hatred based on colour of skin, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation have no chance of success because hatred is so deeply embedded in the human psyche and so damaging to society. Whether we like to admit or not we all have prejudice in our systems, even if we choose to ignore them when it suits us, and until such time as the abusers and abused can agree on the issues that divide the world has no chance of redemption. I'm sorry to say that I feel the vain attempts by certain entities to eliminate the problem are falling on deaf ears and it will take something more substantial to ever have a chance of resolution.
If you truly want to eliminate the issue in football I would suggest that a certain unnamed player should be banned from the game permanently because the authorities didn't have the balls to address the problem when it was originally reported and clearly the lip reading settled any doubt. The human race is a blemished society and until such time as we wake up to the reality of our actions and reactions when it comes down to hatred we will just continue to tell ourselves that we are doing our best to control the problem. Remember the Arab Springs that have surfaced over the last 6 or 7 years that essentially achieved nothing more than more of the same apathy and hatred? The world could be a much better place if we could all put our thoughts to actions rather than weak reactions but don't expect that to happen in our lifetimes and so we will leave this legacy to our grandchildren who hopefully can stop this rot.

If you're talking about JT I'm not sure that's straight forward as we are led to believe.....What was said to him first and him repeating him, saying that it's not what was said......plus what was said to him that started it all off...
The FA are now to investigate whether the booing at Millwall and at Colchester was discriminatory.

If fans boo a referee for getting a decision wrong are they discriminating against the referee ? Of course they're not

I don't get most of it If I'm honest.....I think it's all a bit of a set up (I would say that)...At the end of the day, I think it's the context of what's said that makes anything offensive rather than the words themselves........

It's the fact that unlike rugby, who left it completely up to the clubs, teams and players and now you have some players in one team taking the knee and others that don't and none of them are judged on their choice.
Bristol have never taken the knee they chose to form a heart shape from day one of the restart.
Footballers IMHO have been backed into a situation where personal choice was never going to be allowed, can you imagine the outrage the day the first player decides, ok we have gotten our message across, let's just play football. Instead of the peer pressure being applied to footballers, let them decide as men and not sheep.
Also the knee was never enough for some they had to push it with the addition of the black power salute.
I acknowledge the reported story about QPR and Millwall and I see it as a compromise, if it happens.

You clearly have a negative view of the these people and that they should not win so what are these people? It appears to myself Millwall fans are clearly not being racist. they are objecting to a political act for varied reasons.

You don't have to say the Millwall fans are racist, there were negatives within your post, the implication is that these people are the wrong and that kneeling for BLM is right and should win.
Why is it right for football to ally itself to this political organisation and movement ?

BLM in football is not creating unity as it is not in wider society. There should be no winners, no these people, everybody is anti racist. It is more than time this toxic narrative was changed.

I guess my take on this is that I'm not sure whether the players are doing it of their own free will, or have they been told by Millwall they should do it or can they make their own judgements ?
Who knows, but if the truth is known in wider footballing circles, then I'm sure there are lots of players from all leagues who aren't making a stand for their own personal beliefs and maybe refuse to take a knee for fear or being labelled as a racist, whether they support the cause or not.
I'm sure it's become something of a millstone for a lot of players.
