City haven't looked that good imo. Can't write them off though.

Too early to write anyone off. Chelsea and Spurs look strong, Leicester are thereabouts and City and United are there too with a game in hand. Any points we don't drop between now and mid January is a bonus. Still think the team that beats City will win it though.

I won't go into each of those games but they either never put enough pressure on that defence or had the quality in the final third to do so.

Having said that, I doubt Spurs will either. Your midfield will be too strong and I doubt Son and Kane on their own will be enough to get a win. Probably going to be a draw but I actually think you'll win.

Nice 10 day break since your last game before you play Spurs so nothing for Klopp to moan about :D

We earned our break tomorrow. Sure we're playing Sunday though? :emoticon-0112-wonde

I'm sure he'll find something to moan about, especially if they lose. <laugh>

Mate, you're managed by Frank Lampard - the man who moaned that Christiansen shouldn't have been sent off for that half-nelson on Mane because the ref was too ****ing stupid to do his job in real time.

I put Chelsea in the prediction thread at the start of the season to be up there. He's sorted the defence out without having to stick 10 behind the ball. Fair play, probably too early for a league title but there's definite progress and something being built by those ****s.

I picked Chelsea too

I haven’t watched them much this season, so I could well be wrong, but it seems to me they’ve had their wobble for the season and are now finding their form. A win for them on Saturday, and they’ll be flying imo. Lose, and the wheels could maybe come off again. First time in years a Manc derby is vaguely interesting for the neutral.

<laugh> Leicester.

Look, it’s great that they won the league, it really is; a fairy story, dreams do come true sometimes, all that ****e. But why pretend they will ever be title contenders again?

ps. Sorry @FosseFilberto . But you know I’m right, tell em ffs.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

If it’s on Sky I won’t be watching, if it’s on BT I probably will. Can’t actually be arsed to check at this moment in time, so it’s not like I’m massively bothered tbh. Should be a good game though; the only people writing off Utd seem to be Utd fans. The massively entitled ****s don’t seem to have noticed that they and their manager are not entirely hopeless.

Ole's done very well against Pep, won the last 4 iirc. He seems to have his number so no reason to not be quietly confident.

It could go either way but we are playing at home... so that's a worry.

I thought it was brilliant when they won it. I just expect them to be up there ever since. A good side though.

They are a good side, they’ve found a rhythm and a playing style that suits them, and they have a striker who is absolutely made for that approach. But they don’t have the resources to win the league again imo.

Also, some managers can get 25-30% more out of a squad than what’s there on paper; Rodgers is just not one of those managers.

Vardy carrys them... Once he's gone they'll fall away

People were saying the same thing when Kante and Maguire were sold iirc. Players come and go but clubs live on. I remember some on here said we would be ****ed when Hazard left.

Things definitely went down hill for us after Shearer retired... I think strikers of real quality are the hardest thing to replace. I could be wrong and I understand your point though mate
