Absolute joke of a decision that. The foul was outside the area. VAR spends minutes looking for the ‘clear and obvious’ error, then the actual ref doesn’t even bother looking at the monitor. Defo penalty though

I was just thinking, it's a shame the teams can't have a quiet agreement between themselves and fook VAR off. I'm sure it's going to happen at some point, where someone won't put the penalty away. Didn't something like that happen once before VAR with a Forest player?

I watched an interview ages ago, where a Chairman was saying they all voted it in. In my mind though, that does not say the professional body of the players agree with it, so they could take the rules into their own hands, unless the Chairman dished out financial penalties, but then surely that would be breaching some employment law. Wouldn't be the first time players have acted in such a manner.
