Fair play - Oxford worked hard throughout and moved forward with good determination but, although they looked threatening, they didn't really trouble the defence. Their pressing kept City on the back foot throughout the first half but a bit more pace from City in the second half was enough to swing the pendulum our way. Awful decision by the ref to pull play back for a free kick when Docherty was through one on one with the keeper so it was pleasing to see him score a great equaliser. A gritty performance with some effective defending and the best attacking moments (including the save from KLP's free kick and the header against the bar) being contributed by City. The draw was a bit disappointing in the end but it would be hard to deny Oxford a well deserved point.
