I loved how excited they got when an Oxford player got within 50 yards of goal, it was like they were one on one 10 yards out... <laugh>

Loads on here dislike Burnsy and Swanny, but they really are one of the better BBC commentary teams.

My wife was 21 when we got married. Maybe some people think that is a child. Not Bowie, Jimmy Page, John Peel and a few others...oh, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Fair play - Oxford worked hard throughout and moved forward with good determination but, although they looked threatening, they didn't really trouble the defence. Their pressing kept City on the back foot throughout the first half but a bit more pace from City in the second half was enough to swing the pendulum our way. Awful decision by the ref to pull play back for a free kick when Docherty was through one on one with the keeper so it was pleasing to see him score a great equaliser. A gritty performance with some effective defending and the best attacking moments (including the save from KLP's free kick and the header against the bar) being contributed by City. The draw was a bit disappointing in the end but it would be hard to deny Oxford a well deserved point.

I would prefer it if the commentator didn't constantly substitute "f" for "th" - I cringe whenever we play four free free and also when we win a frow in.

Thankfully they burnt themselves out in the first half - we couldn't cope being constantly chased down and we kept getting pushed back - we had no answers - once they started to tire we found much more space and were able to push forward and eventually got back in the game - i wish we'd stop ****ing about at the back when the keeper plays short - very messy and Wilks needs to understand that it's ok to pass - otherwise well earned hard fought point - still top of the league when most would have thought we would be cannon fodder at the start of the season

I know, tell me about it, 55 years of hurt!

Typical City to win one without fans though.
