You came up, flirted with relegation in 14/15.
Had a season that was beyond belief the following year, with a fairly average but effective side, that got lucky with injuries and you won the title with one of the lowest totals in PL history, as the ‘big guns’ were all in transition periods.
Following season reality returned and you were 12th with only 3 points more than you managed in 14/15.
Followed by 2x 9th places.
Brenda gets you going well early last season and you were right up there, then the wheels fell off before the turn of the year, and you slid backwards. You’ve started this season well again, but in the calendar year table you’re actually 10th.

It's not just the league finish it's the football we have played ...admittedly not all the time ... but on our day we are capable of giving anyone a game ... under Brenda we now hold the all time top flight away win margin record ... and we go to places like Citeh and Arsenal and win ... so would you say Everton are evolving or going backwards ... could be argued either way if I applied your kind of logic...
