Hearing that he’s been viewing houses today in the north east area. Could be bullshit, but wouldn’t put anything past Daffy Duck and his sidekicks.

    For the moment mate.

I'll never be free of stalkers because they're basically thick.

Most people realise I post in a particularly bombastic style to encourage debate, enthuse people and draw out honest opinions.

But the internet warriors think I'm being arrogant, attention seeking and superior.

I'm just another daft bloke talking about the club, and supporters, he loves.

How good it would be for the current generation to have such good memories. Even though we were predominantly a 2nd division (Championship in today's speak) side, it was a wonderful journey and it's what cemented my passion for this club.

  8. I've tried to describe it to my Grandkids, but they don't really get it,because it's an alien concept to them now in all seater stadiums.
Seeing the crowd sway back and forth and the kids being passed overhead down to the front to keep them safe......it's beyond comprehension in the modern day.
It harks back to a time when good, working class people took care of their own...Hillsborough changed all that of course, and it was lost forever.

I thought that was a bit strange tbh. I can't imagine how anyone could let a complete stranger on a message board get under their skin so much like.

rooney rule mate. EFL adopted the requirement to interview BAME candidates for roles advertised, no requirement to appoint but they have to interview

    Absolutely.

I became a Sunderland fan because of a visit to roker park during the Peter Reid era before promotion. it was electric. I can remember thinking "wow imagine if this was in the premier" And then it was.

I want my daughters to think the same in a few years when I get to take them. They're 5 and 3 and hate football so we have a while to get our **** together first

All seems to have gone quiet after a bit of mania.

When I say gone quiet, I mean gone quiet for a few hours. Anything could happen later.

That was my first thought too, doesn’t appear to be the case though. Having said that I’d have him over some of the other names mentioned.
