We certainly need the rub of the green and to knock a penalty in.
I get more and more frustrated how free kicks and yellow cards are given against us, Robinson's booking was ridiculous and anytime a player falls into one of ours we are at fault, do referees not watch and learn what happens nowadays?
First half we missed Mitro and Frank, they and RLC made a big difference when introduced. The team was too small, physically, when we kicked off.
Leicester at King Power next, oh that will be easy.................................

Good second half performance shows there is still fight and as long as we don't lose confidence there us still hope. Ridiculous 1st goal, what a gift and as for the penalty well I just don't know what to say.

We need to start the team that finished today. We gave Everton a game today. For the neutral it would have been a good game but for us it was again frustrating. It's fine margins and we need to pick up a few unexpected points in the next few games. (practice on those penalties though)

Next game is Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, 17:30 ko and covered by Sky.
A massive game in the 2WS household, Mrs 2WS supports LCFC so the bragging stakes are very high!
We could have an advantage physically if we select those that finished our game against Everton. LCFC are not a particularly physically big, but technically very good and quick (Vardy and Barnes), but they struggled against West Ham's physicality. We will need to find the right mentality we showed in the last 2nd half we played to stand any chance of a point/s, but we do have this in our locker. A weakness they have at the moment is the right sided wing back, both regulars have been out injured but on their way back. Albrighton is filling in, and he is not a good defender, so Lookman and Robinson could give the advantage, and if Miro can tie down Forfana and move him to places he shouldn't be, who knows what could happen. Forfana is one of the best defenders in the EPL and only 19years old, believe me he is.
So we need to go through the pain barrier and ensure I have some bragging rights come Monday evening, please......................

If we play like we played 2nd half v Everton we have a chance. Loftus Cheek needs to start and we need to have Mitro causing trouble for the Leicester defence.
I haven't properly watched Forfana that so will be good to see.

Rubbish kick off time but an excuse for me to finish work on time. I fancy a draw which should hopefully keep Mrs 2WS quiet.

What a run of games to have, Leicester, Man City and Liverpool <yikes>

Of the 3 you would have to say the Leicester game is our best chance of taking something, even if it is a slim chance. From what I have seen we are playing well in games, well enough to have picked up more points than we have, but for whatever reason we just cant seem to break through and get the points ticking over. Anything from these next 3 games is a bonus, but after that we really need to start picking up points during the Christmas and New Year period before we start to get cut adrift in the relegation zone.

Very sad news about the passing of Papa Bouba Diop. He was a great player for us, I have some good memories of some of the brilliant goals he scored for us, one in particular against Man Utd at The Cottage, don't think I've ever seen a ball hit so hard! He just seemed like an all round nice guy too.

    RIP The Wardrobe.

No, oh no, this is not required at all....at least not from my end of the sofa :emoticon-0128-hi:

Fulham's performances have been much improved of late, and current league position isn't indicative of the teams capability. Unfortunately, when you're at the wrong end of the table much always conspires against you. It happened to us every week in 14/15.

Hopefully, points will soon reflect performances for FFC - just not starting tonight!!

Sad about Diop's passing. It's interesting one comment I read from a player: he said that at 6'6", Diop appeared to be a fearsome player on the pitch, but there was not an aggressive or mean bone in his body. Sorry about his death.

Anguissa carrying the ball for 30 yards, powering through the middle and looking up to slide through to Lookman... fantastic play and a great finish. 0-1

Definite penalty eventually given (via VAR) after a long delay, as Fuchs clips Bobby Reid. All Fulham fans hide behind the sofa... but Cavaleiro scores! 0-2

    We scored a penalty <yikes>

Very unexpected to go in leading 2-0 at half time, but we've done a job on Leicester so far.

We countered well, with pace. However we play a very open game and we have to be smart in the next 20 minutes not to give Leicester too much room.

Also, fair play to Cav stepping up again after he already missed one. Would be easy to pass it to someone else with all the pressure on our penalty takers at the moment, but he obviously fancied it so well done to him

Conceded a late goal, but ultimately we saw it out. Great result, deserved the 3 points, very important win with City & Liverpool up next.

    Bring on City! <laugh>

Seriously though what a big win that is, we've been playing well without getting points so can't say we weren't due this.

By the way, we got QPR in the FA Cup.

Now at last we have got a result that our recent performances have deserved. What a win, I am absolutely delighted.

A win was just what we needed to give us confidence and repay the players for all the efforts they have put in during training and the last few games. The monkey is off our back also on penalties and so close to a clean sheet which really would have been icing on the cake. Good team performance and fully deserved. Leicester were not at their best, not sure why they played 5 at the back, perhaps thought they'd push us more up front and expose our defence but it didn't work.

Would love to be a fly on the wall at 2WS's house tonight - don't milk it too much !

I'm doing my very best to keep a lid on it here!
Brilliant and professional performance today, fitness and pure will at times. Leicester didn't play too well, but I think that was more due to us not letting them. Our CB's stopped Vardy and the midfield stopped the through balls he feeds off.
Forfana had a bad day, thankfully, he is trying too much this last game or 3.
