Defo mate. Can you imagine the type of people this lad will have around him and advising him, no way would they let him be walked over. Him buying a stake in a football club is a big thing, imagine his every move etc will be being watched by people close to him.
Tbh I don’t even think JS and KLD would be that involved day to day. They’ll set the direction and provide funding (mostly from KLD) but other than that I’d expect day to day leadership from the sporting director, new chairman, new manager and Jim Rodwell (if he stays). Frankly, no owner is going to come in and want to fail, even SD and CM. The owner literally needs to get two things right: 1) the funding ; 2) the appointments of the key operators. They’ve clearly got item 1 covered, so the only important thing left for me is item 2. Get the appointments of those roles right and the rest of who owns what percentage is frankly irrelevant.
