Its a 3am in the morning start here - if I can't get back to sleep after the call to pray from the mosque wakes me up at 4am I might start to watch the second half.

well last week I said we had the C Team of Referee and officials taking in our game
this week we must have the D Team
Ref Graham Scott -
7 games in total this season - 3 in P L and 3 in Championship - skirts between leagues and not a regular PL ref
4th Official Michael Salisbury (who ?)
8 games this season - 3 in Championship and the others between League 1 and League 2
spent most of last season doing league 1 and 2
Var Jarred Gillett (who ?)
10 games this season - All in the Championship except our EFL Cup game against Blackburn
In the same amount of games last season (10)
we had 3 of the most experienced refs cover our games in 6 of those games
Martin Atkinson x 2
Mike Dean x 2
Andre Marriner x 2
This season
Peter Banks x 2 (but only reffing 3 premier games in total this season)
Stuart Atwell x 2 (but only reffing 5 premier games in total this season)
Craig Pawson x 2 (but only reffing 6 premier games in total this season)
All I'm saying is that there doesn't seem to be a mix of the more experienced officials

Wow that’s interesting isn’t it. I think there’s an element of they want the better referees for the top games. Interestingly I also think they want the more stronger minded controversial ones for them aswell. Entertainment not just from the players but the referees aswell.
Remember it’s a Friday aswell.
