We went into lockdown in tier 2 but wouldn't surprise me if we came out in tier 3. How will they work it for those 12k who renewed their season tickets? Which 2k or 4k will get to go to the games?

Strong rumours we will go into Tier 3 - if so that knackers us for games. Sure id read somewhere that a local authority in the NE confirmed they would go into tier 3 - that could mean the whole NE does the same.

Hmm same for playing golf etc...

I renewed. No way Im going back until at least things return to normal. Actually Im getting quite used to watching SAFSEE in the comfort of my own bar

One concern though, if they give me the opportunity to return and I refuse, they no longer let me watch home matches 'free of charge' on SAFSEE.

I wouldn't be too happy if that happened

Anyhow wont worry about it until it happens

should be a tombola/random draw for us season card holders, or people at less risk with covid/tier system we might get 4,000 in for the Burton game which would be switched to next Wed (just in time for danny graham to score an hatrick !). Wear a mask, sanatise, don't drink beer, keep away from other supporters, leave a gap in the que, i would even wear a frigging space suit if they want etc i am for that !.

Good news for those who want to attend but I've got zero chance if it's only 4,000 being allowed in. As far as I'm concerned, those seats go to season card holders and seeing as we have about 10,000 of those we're going to need some sort of raffle to see wo could actually go. This season is just a write off for me, just hope that some form of normality has returned for the start of next season.

I didn't bother with mine or the bairns until this blows over. It's great news that some fans will get back but we could easily get more than 4k in the SoL safely imo. The only thing is the crap footie and if all 12k want to go back to watch it! <laugh>

Well I renewed, i could tempted by a boxing day game?

If you watch Safcsee look along the half-way line follow the line up to where sunderland is spelt out and just above this is two black seats, I am one of those seats and the bloke next to me was the year ahead at school.

Once we're allowed fans (might be a while because of the tier system) it's very likely to be a ballot of all those who renewed and are interested in attending

We are tier 3 so that's that ! what a waste of time no supporters are going back, they just say this to keep us happy i think. i have stuck by the rules never talked close to anyone without a mask on for the past 9 months, cleaned my hands as well, but some people are not why/who ? i am in the east stand middle about row 40 great view or will be eventually.

Bizarre way of deciding which areas are tier 3 and tier 2. No London boroughs are in 3, yet Havering for example have far worse rates than places in the NE, with no sign of it slowing down.

The cynic in me feels that they just want London to keep open, **** the rest of the oiks around the country.
