There's a lot that we don't see as fans. His attitude behind the scenes might just suck.
The club might've taken the decision out of Arteta's hands after Ozil refused the pay cut, though.

If his attitude sucked then surely he would be allowed to train with the first team squad. Yes he can come across as lazy and his demeanour isn’t the best but he’s probably the most talented player they have. To be paying him £350,000 a week and not even use him is ridiculous
