I like most slated him in more than one occasion, but the Cup Final really did show up what we needed.
He did the things that never got noticed, when played in midfield he was an annoyance to opponents & we all looked at him shouting, “stop passing it backwards/sideways.” The amount of times I & others thought, why the **** is he in midfield?<laugh>
Currently I feel Doc & Smallwood do that job for us.
 
Always battled hard did Alex , and gave 100% for City . Because his dad was the manager some would be negative regarding him being in the team . He did his bit by helping us to 2 promotions and performed well in the PL . Thank you Alex .
 
Suarez still has nightmares about Wor Alex.
