We're just gonna have to take the hit and accept he hasn't worked out. The fans have tried to support him every week, waited for him to come good, yet he's disappointed regularly. Today was the final straw though. No excuses for that. One way or another, he needs to go.
As I said, Arteta didn't really trust him as it was, and many were surprised to see him start. If on the one occasion Arteta trusts him to start this game, where he goes and does that, do you really believe that the manager will have faith again? Especially after how he treated Guendouzi in the aftermath of the Brighton game? Pepe is finished at Arsenal IMO. I see no way back for him.
