Great insult then. Would be a good retort to "Woke bastard"“The German term Herrenvolk, "master race", was used in 19th century discourse that justified colonialism with the supposed racial superiority of Europeans.”

It's just the Conservative Party extending its war on the Beeb to this forum. Not sure what all the fuss is about.
No radio station plays the full version of Money for Nothing by Dire Straits, because the word '***got' is used in an insulting manner several times.
The original version of Games without Frontiers by Peter Gabriel uses a racist word, so only the 'radio edit' ever gets played.
And plenty of songs (including Creep by Radiohead) use the work "f**k" or "f**king". So only 'clean' edits are played on air.
The BBC doesn't want to play the version of 'Fairytale of New York' that contains homophobic and misogynistic abuse.
People can presumably listen to the unedited version on other radio stations if they wish.
I find the notion of a campaign to send a Christmas single to the top of the charts because it contains offensive language rather funny.
Outraged anti-PC views are not immune from sounding just a bit ridiculous sometimes.
Nine what ?
This is from the Corporation that covered up the Jimmy Saville scandal. Strange set of morals.
Not all Left. I have never had a problem with the traditional social democratic centre left Labour Party - many of them over the years have been very decent and admirable characters. What would the likes of Gaitskell, Wilson, Callaghan & Healey made of today’s Labour Party. I think we can guess.

I think you missed John Smith and Tony Benn off that list![]()

The Kinks original version of Lola had Coca-Cola in the first verse, so Ray Davies had to overdub Cherrycola. The BBC wouldn't play it otherwise because they said it was advertising.I know one radio DJ happy to play the original version of Money For Nothing ...
