Great result but think its a bit unfair Samuelsen didnt get more minutes after his recent performances.

Very good away performance and back to the top.
Fraser for MK was very impressive.

I don't like the 5 subs rule. Last 10 of most games now where one team is leading will turn out like that, bitty, disrupted and a bit meh

Kevin Ellison scores 96th minute winner for Newport to keep them top. He will be 42 in February!

Another good win. We were under pressure at the end but stuck to our guns and defended doggedly. Thought Eaves held the ball up well when he came on and looked much better in the minutes he played and set up Scott for the third. Ipswich on Tuesday will be interesting. UTT

I'm fine with it, the fixture list is pretty congested as it is and it gives a chance to give players who need some rest a bit of time.

Great team performance today against a good footballing team away from home. MK Dons only had had two shots that needed saving all afternoon which speaks volumes of our defence and our overall team work. Every one of our team played well including the subs, Eaves in particular looked very good.
I don't think I've seen us play better then that for a long time. Only wish I'd I've been there to give them a standing ovation at the end because that was a very, very good team performance.

Ipswich get 97th minute winner. Going to be an important game there. Will need a few beers in to settle my nerves.

Arm around the shoulder, praise in front of his team mates in the changing room and a resounding 'We need you for Tuesday' in his ear. Josh has had a good week.

You wouldn't have been hurrying out like some because it is a long journey home?<laugh>
Some thought Eaves should have been kept on the bench. Armchair managers, eh?
