Very good - though it is quite an old video and I wonder if any of it had a bearing on removing the orange clown from office? However, I agree - it is relevant (not quite so relevant, but definitely a little) to the U.K. where, clearly, the billionaires, tax avoiders, media tycoons, etc effectively make our laws as we (the people) have little or no say in the political landscape as, until PR comes in, it’s all about electoral borders and seats, not votes. I really hope that Starmer can get together with the Lib Dem’s, Greens, etc and agree to go straight after the current Tory MPs who support this corrupt government by tactical voting. Sadly, there are people in the Labour Party who are too tied up with the past, the ultra-left and, dare I say it, Jeremy Corbyn, and would rather see Starmer fail than take down this government. These people should be kicked out and told to form their own ultra-left party as, until they STFU, we won’t see the end of the Tory stranglehold on the country and we, the people, will just become serfs to the rich and privileged .......
Yes the arguing needs to stop. Corbyn needs to show that he has the well-being of the country in his heart and tell the dissenters to judge Starmer on his electoral manifesto, not on him trying to shape the party into one that will also attract votes from the right. A divided party just gives the Tories 5 more years to destroy any future chance of there ever being any other party in power.
I'm a dyed-in-the-wool old Marxist, but so-called Momentum, like the Militant Tendency of the 80's, are a bloody pain in the arse. If they are so sure that their left wing agenda can win elections they should form their own party and put up candidates, not try to take over a broad based party that is trying to bring some semblance of decency into politics. Unfortunately, like Kinnock before him, Starmer has got to win the internal battle to make Labour fit to fight the Tories. Kinnock ultimately failed and we got Tory-in-Labour-clothing Blair. We don't want a re-run. This is the consensus in my local party and we work hard to keep united, despite differences in approach, and have been rewarded with a Labour Council and excellent Labour MP in what has traditionally been a Tory stronghold. Well said, that’s spot on. In order to bring about any social change and undo the innumerable disasters of the last 10 years Labour first has to be in power, and to do that they have to win back the centre.

Watching a documentary on BBC One on the US election. There was a scene outside a voting centre in Pennsylvania where a democratic voter (wearing a face mask) was going in to vote and was getting dogs abuse from pro-Trump voters who were demanding the count be stopped. I had to laugh when, during an interview with the democrat voter, a republican woman came up to him with and literally just said "blah, blah, blah". He was making intelligent, well thought out points and she makes toddler noises. Sums up the situation perfectly.

He's one of the lawyers involved in the GA election suit, and is suggesting that the incredibly Trumpy governor of Georgia should be thrown in prison for fraudulently rigging the election for the Democrats: There are no half-measures. Great response. Marcus Rashford is one in a million and I only wish more 23 year olds think like he does. It is not a crime to earn millions or want the best for your family. It is a crime to not look after your fellow human beings out of self interest and political oneupmanship IMO.

As Labour are a unionist party they will get zilch in Scotland. Perhaps Labour in Scotland should back another referendum and support independence.
Re Corbyn: Of itself it is a fair statement. May be something along the lines of saying sorry for what happened on his shift and a apology for his knee jerk reaction would have added credibility. But some people are never wrong....
