Probably a comfortable Welsh win. Ireland don't have a goal threat, apart from Duffy at set-pieces and he already missed a decent chance.
Jesus just peered at the group Wasnt quite aware Ireland had been THAT bad. San Marino have almost caught up to them if they lose tonight.
Kenny's totally out of his depth and should never have been given the job, but he doesn't have a lot to work with. Persisting with Idah all the time is a strange choice, though. He's in and out of the Norwich side, FFS.
He's too young to judge too harshly, but I've not seen anything vaguely encouraging from him. I don't get it.
Not much else to pick from up front. Guess he’s there to offer legs at least compared to someone like James Collins who you’d fancy to score if they ever created any chances but they don’t.
Ireland just look like a team low on confidence and poorly coached, I see it every time Newcastle play. Came out for the first half like a bull outta the gates high on nervous energy, go close once or twice and then, after they fail to actually score they slink back to their usual selves as the adrenaline dies off and that's it. What they need is a very talented player who can do something with their sudden bursts of decent football.
Exactly. It's clear as day, but that's the trouble with national sides isn't it. Literally stuck with what you've got until someone decent plods along. Then the English convince him to play for them cos he was actually born in London or summit.
