If you want to make a good choice when buying a PC, custom or pre-built or buying parts.
This is a great site for comparing component performance and dead easy to use
Helps you get max bang for buck and avoid sneaky seller traps

who wants to **** around with thermal paste to save £40?

Most dont
Many do avail of the "select your parts on the site" and they build the custom for you.
Some need specific features on CPUs for some tasks if they work from it

Others buy second hand PCs. Good to know what you're getting compared to what you have.

and the best part is you don't need to know anything, you only need to be able to tell which number is bigger :)

I can't see the point in spending loads on new stuff, the game developers want to sell as many as they can, so making a game that needs new stuff is a waste of time and money. Old gen workstations are the way to go, mines 8 years old, can play pretty much any title, VR will work, the GPU bottlenecking is the only problem at epic settings, and that's a 1660 GFX, so not old.

Currently building a gaming one for my nephew, got the case and PSU, but gonna buy a MB bundle, can't be arsed with faffing around.

Well that's me woked out of ever buying my kid anything to do with the publisher, never mind the developer <ok>

Apparently one character called disfigured to a disfigured character, in a medieval game with all manner of death and violence <laugh>

is it? I’ve been looking at that on gamepass.
Well it's stunning to look at, I'm not far enough into it to go beyond that really bar the way it goes from cutscene to game is very smooth, which makes you feel involved really quickly I've only played one battle and I was fully immersed within seconds of picking it up.

Visually though it's one of the best I've played on xbox.

Once I’m done with Cod & Valhalla I’ll give it a download.

I bought it for the campaign. Will mess around online if my mates are playing, other wise I stay clear.
I used to play it online until apex legends came out, now I can't play Cod anymore cos the movement feels so stiff and laboured in comparison. If you ever played titan fall then you'll know what I mean about the movement, it's way more smooth and fluid.

The difference is massive imo

I got that on launch of Xbox one about 7 years ago iirc. Not bad but repetitive.

Started the Hearthfire DLC on Skyrim last night, apparently you can get a torcher chamber to **** up some folk once it’s all done. Word.

Nice mate, you playing it on xbox with mods? Theres a fair few dlc mods like falksreath and the forbidden city and others which offer hours of extra gameplay and hundreds of new quests and stuff.

The mods in Skyrim are crazy good, can practically make it a whole new experience with some mods added in

And yeah ryse is decent I can see how it can be repetitive though, looks fantastic tho for realz

Had my daughter's xbox back today...... Heavy as fk no more details but its a fking block of a machine
