Trump now blaming the scientists for not announcing the vaccine breakthrough before the election. I suppose this is also his first public admission that he actually lost the election, but it will not have crossed his mind when he made the comments.
I have to be honest, I don't even know which party is which over there.

That's the EU being completely unreasonable.
