Our fantastic manager talks about being "on the bus"

We all follow Southampton and are enjoying this ride to bigger and better things.

So one question..... when anybody makes a post on here if its a positive or a slight moan about a player, facilities or anything in general, why is it seen to be cool to back bite or rubbish somebodys post?

We are southampton we are together as one I am all for debate and disagreement but sometimes we make ourselves look stupid......

IMAGINE IF WE WERE PORTSMOUTH PEOPLE WOULD BE TRYING TO KILL EACH OTHER.

That is all. COYR

The majority of people dislike negativity, especially when we've got it so good at the moment. It's as simple as that.

You say Together As One..? So then anyone who makes a negative point is not being together as one. They are being apart..! It's quite a simple concept, according to the Nigel Adkins Book of Positivity, and that is...

Don't dis until it's truly deserved..! ;)

Look, we are all football fans. It's what we do. Disagree about stuff.
The difference when we doing well is only the subject matter.
I do find it difficult to be negative at the moment, about anything Saints related, particularly as my boss is a Seagulls fan!

You're right. I was just being a bit pedantic and fan like, rather than keeping the peace like a moderator calms. I've been there, CF. ;)

It's called debate, and it's the sole purpose of a forum. It's what I'm doing right now. We don't all come on here just to acknowledge a person's post and say "I agree". We all have opinions and want to express them. Sometimes they conflict. That's life.

Agree aswell, debate makes it more interesting - it would be a boring place if everyone agreed with each other all the time.

It's not like North Korea - here on Not606 we all have different personalities, viewpoints and opinions.

I had a very firm warning (by e-mail!) on the original 606 for merely saying Pompey were carp (my actual term) in a lighthearted thread...you know what a troublemaker I am! As I have repeated the offence I await the dreaded red words of Beddy.
