I’m calling it now. That was a good half, a great half. Probably the greatest half today. We can’t let those barcodes steal the game, a great game. there will be litigation and it is a threat to the beautiful game.
We are playing some lovely team football....but need a 2nd goal (probably, preferably). However, regardless of today's result, I feel confident that we will do well this season.
I know he missed a good chance (and finishing has never been his strongest suit), but surely there can't be many Theo-doubters left. Two and a half games in - each in a different position - and contributions in all of them. For a loan signing, where we're only paying about 40% wages (and a golden chance to sign him for free afterwards), it's a top piece of business.
Even with the missed chance he did everything right. I can live with that. He was just 2 inches the wrong side of the post. If he'd snatched at it with his left I would have been a bit concerned but he didn't do that - showed excellent composure, just unlucky.
