I won't give up on it until it is mathematically impossible, but we've got to be realistic.

4th would be great, for starters.

What's up, Smart, is he a wum?

No harm in dreaming, our turn around has been excellent since our poor start. It's not realistic but it'd be one hell of a story if we go from being bottom to winning the league.

No harm in dreaming, but i think realistically that is all it is. After 6/7 games we are still in contention (unlike some) but injuries to key players could be a problem.
We were embarassed by City earlier in the season. Yeah, we were missing players, but you don't often see title winning teams lose 5-1 regardless

My vote is that this is a Gooner or Scouser wum pretending to be a Yid, and posting something silly in order to make us a laughing-stock.

Unfortunately for him, he's not taken into account that this is neither the AFC or the LFC board, and that we are not in the habit of rising to this kind of thing.

It's called maturity.

When we start to beat Man U on a regular basis THEN we might have a shout. Until then top 3 or 4 is where we might expect to be, with long odds on a second. Man U & Chelsea are still ahead of us and Man C if they don't blow up; which is always a possibility.

Loooooonnnng waaay to go!

Winning the title has almost nothing to do with being able to beat the top couple of teams.

It's about being flat track bullies against the rest.

No the individual results may not have a bearing on the title, but you have to measure the quality of your team by performances against the best and the only team in the league we have yet to win against in recent years is United. This tells me that we are not yet good enough to challenge for the top. Of course you have to put away the teams below you and to do that you need a margin of error so that even on a off day you are still good enough to win. Spurs do not have that margin yet and that's the difference between being champions or not.
