Basically, the networks are waiting until Biden takes the lead in PA before projecting him as the winner, because they don't want the fallout that would come with that projection if Trump still has a lead (even if everyone knows at this point that Biden will win).

But Trump's lead in PA is down to 50k, and there's a few hundred thousand votes in overwhelmingly Democratic areas to go. Similarly, his margin in GA is 2500 and shrinking. The countdown is on.

and you could say the same thing about football. Have you ever learned anything from a football thread other that has enlightened your view of the game?

He’s been enlightened by the knowledge that certain players need a 6 game run.*

The networks called Arizona way too early didn’t they? All except CNN, with their supposed left wing liberal bias.

CNN whose election coverage has been consistently excellent btw.

Potentially. It's still likely that Biden wins AZ, but early-ish calls shouldn't be this close. Basically, what appears to have happened is incorrect assumptions were made about mail votes based on the trends they were seeing, and AZ (where older voters have cast mail ballots for eons) bucked that, with a big split between mail ballots cast early and late.

Ultimately won't matter though, because Biden can lose AZ, lose GA, lose NV even and still win once the PA count pushes him over the top, which will happen tomorrow morning.
