Day 14 today. Haven’t struggled at all really it’s been really easy.

Went climbing today and had a victory cig after managing to gather the balls to do something scary that’s caught my eye for awhile. Think I needed that, it did absolutely nothing for me at all and tasted foul. Now I don’t want to smoke anymore.

So I’m done with it now and that’s that.
Until City win the FA Cup.

If you really don't want to be a smoker any more that's more than half the battle won imo.
Good stuff!

Edit: I wish I felt the same way about drinking...

So it looks like I'm going to have to stop smoking anyway as we've just been put on short time hours. Five hour days Monday to Friday, so 25 hours.

It's this Government job retention scheme thing. I'll lose about 20% of my salary for an indefinite time, likely to be at least through 2003 and possibly as long as 2009.

Smoking costs me about £300 a month, so I need crack to on and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

I'll take the positives, so hey, I'll only be at work for five hours a day.

Is it just me or is everything ****?

Keep at it pal, it won’t last.

You’ll be fitter & able to rake in all the overtime when things take a turn for the better.

Shout up if you need owt.

.

I'll be just fine, Ben. In fact it's at times like these when I should be thinking of people less fortunate than me.

I don't know, maybe its about time the world took a good kick in the balls, so we might all realise once again what's important and what isn't.

I’ve got a rope if you want to borrow one.

Might be the easiest option at this point.

Wouldn’t be a good friend if I didn’t offer.
