Getting past the bullshit bantz for a moment, how the **** do United blitz Leipzig mid week then barely lay a glove on Arsenal at home a few days later?

I don’t get what’s going on there, I really don’t. That squad has bags of talent but it’s bipolar and virtually impossible to predict. Logic tells me that has to be down to the rather confused looking smiling fella sat in the dugout. Nice fella and all that, but he’s waaaaaaayyyyyyy out of his depth for me.

Not sure if you watched the first half against Leipzig but it was pretty much 90 mins of today.

The team started to play in the second half in that game, which they never managed today. Bringing on Rashford and Fernandes in that game late on ramped up the goals as well. Martial wasn't suspended either.

He needs to play / find his best 'team' ... dare I say that's what Claudio Ranieri did with us and was why Goklan Inler had to sit on the bench whilst Danny (****ing) Drinkwater started every game ...
Didn’t he find that at the back end of last season when they managed to secure a top 4 spot?

I know sides in Europe have to rotate, but most will have a settled first XI and rotate in games that they feel it’s appropriate to do so. He seems to pick sides like a bingo caller.

Yeah I watched it, and you were winning at HT, no?

I know Leipzig fell to bits in the last 15, but I thought United played well throughout tbh.

Just seen Kane back into a player and foul him yet Kane gets a penalty. Very soft penalty award that.
Honestly think that is dangerous play by Kane and he did a similar move in a previous league game as I have seen it online, it’s Kane making no attempt to go for a header.
I know we all are supposed to love the Engeeeerland Skipper and all that but that’s the kind of move that will see him sent off in the Euros next year.

Yeh and that's the problem. When we score it masks (and seems to define) opinions about our performance. First half we couldn't string more than 2 passes together, couldn't get out of our own half and in the end kept lumping it long. The goal masked all that.

Imagine if Greenwood had scored that chance in the first half today, would that have made our performance any better?

And that's the difference, when the goal aint there, we see our problems exposed.

Hopefully Telles and Martial will be back next week for the PL games so lets see what happens.

Been over on the Spud board saying this and they think it's fine.

I await the day some ****ers does it to one of their players and injures him, oh how i will laugh :bandit:

You’ve got one of the strongest and most expensive squads in the league, and you’re currently sat in 15th mate.

Just saying.

Shows how ****e Ole is then innit.

Fergie would walk the league with United’s squad.

Peej spent bare time hypin now he better take some from the likes of Welshie and Roy. Let ya boy take some heat.

He doesn't stand his ground, he looks for Lallana and purposefully moves there so he'll be fouled, he doesn't even bother to make an effort to even look like he's going for the ball.
Terrible decision, should've been a yellow for Kane imo.

One of them six of one, half a dozen of the other kind of situations

Did the same thing mid week (and in the 94th min today) where he actually bent over so the player would go over him. Red card all day years ago.

That was never a penalty for Spurs but balanced up by the obvious foul in the build up to Brighton’s goal.

I still think this likely to be the most open season in a long time. Every side in the division is beatable and relatively inconsistent. As my bookies account will attest.
