Viewing the graphs and data supplied yesterday at Boris’ news conference, London’s daily cases and deaths have plummeted from the highest in mid April (4800 cases/230 deaths) to among the lowest in October (a few hundred cases and deaths barely reaching double figures).
Given that London houses 9.3 million people out of England’s total of 56 million, the figures are rather surprising.
It’s also noticeable that references to London by the media have somewhat disappeared.
Can someone suggest a solution to this riddle?
PS. No apologies for the tardity of yesterday’s news conference. Apparently, Boris needed the long delay to comprehend Chris Whitty’s graphs.
