It's conditions like this that take me back to a game my son played in - an away game near Aberdeen. We got to the ground early and I set the boys up at one end of the pitch to warm up while I went back to the car for my 'refreshments'. While I was gone, the coach of the other team told the boys they were at the wrong end & told them to go to the other end.
We soon found out why - a sunny, windy day, the sun was so bright that our boys literally couldn't see a thing - were 10-0 down at half time. In the second half, the sun had gone down & the wind had stopped. No further score...
