An interesting comment from Steve bruce in an interview with SSN He said ' I won't be here for much longer I don't think'
Where was this I can’t find any mention of it other than on a different forum. Nothing on twitter that I can see?
It's on SSN it's a weird end to the video that's for sure. He's asked about the takeover then he says it looks like it's gone away and suggests he's nothing on takeovers, but then bizarrely at the end he says ' I don't think I'm going to be here for much longer ' with a huge grin on his face... Then he's asked if he's considering retiring and again his laughs and says ' no no no no no there's plenty of work to do yet.... Just a bit weird

@Jamtoon88 It just seems a very strange thing to at.. He clearly suggests he thinks he's in trouble or retiring and he then is asked about retiring and he says no.. It could just be him saying something stupid though
He says he might not be "in it" much longer. He didn't.say "here" (as.in NUFC). I think he just generally means being in the management game. He was talking about trying to enjoy the experience. I think he just means enjoy managing while he can. I don't read anything more into it to be honest. I dont think he knows about actual takeover progress.
Here is what I think has happened. The QC barristers wrote to the PL and put the fear of God into them. Shaheed Fatima, who has acted for Saudi PIF in previous cases concerning legal separation, warned the PL that precedent was on Mike Ashleys side. In response, the PL invited the consortium to resubmit their application otherwise thry would be sued to the hilt. Jamie Reuben, as part of the proposed board, resigned from his position and is to be appointed director of JV1 and so all directors now identifiable, are appointed. The PL can then carry out their test which is a formality.
