Hi guys Thought I'd take the plunge. Saints fan since 1975. Used to go home and away until the mid eighties when family and work committments curtailed things. Based in London now so still get to attend a few games. Look forward to joining in the debates.

Best team has always been the Keegan, Moran, Armstriong side from the eighties. Still have the bruises from April 84 at Fratton!!
Yes, and the loss in the semi-final has haunted me for ever! Welcome. I know all about having Saints commitments curtailed by work, family and location. It now takes me only 10 hours to get to and from a home game, a big improvement on the past! For the record my favourite Saints team has to include Channon, but he played in some horrible teams. Overalll, my favourite team right now is this one. The most exciting Saints team since the show-boaters, but this lot get results!
This team is brilliant but that team with Moran and co was unstoppable at times! The Moran hat trick when putting 8 past Coventry is a particular fav. Not sure the team really got the credit they should have that season.
One of my favourite games... that and the Fratton Park cup game. The week after the 8-2 v Coventry, we bat Spurs 5-0 at The Dell. Happy Days. These are Happy Days again now.
