Serves them right for underestimating Shakhtar. He put Kroos, Benzema and Isco on the bench!

But what they really need, who they could really do with... is Ozil back <laugh>

They've got Barca on the weekend, so they probably thought they could win this with their backup players. Looks like a poor choice, in hindsight! <laugh>

I never understand this. Why notstart them, make the game comfortable and then take them off. I bet he brings them on 2nd half and they get run ragged.
