    Taken from London news online..
Describes it pretty much spot on, love the last bit.

Glyn Hodges sought to nullify Hull’s attacking threat by flooding the midfield with at times a 3-6-1 formation with Jack Rudoni the furthest forward of six midfielders in the hole behind lone striker Joe Pigott.

Indeed it was Rudoni who should have opened the scoring but he screwed his shot from close range wide after Pigott headed Shane McLoughlin’s cross into his path. Alex Woodyard also squandered a golden chance as he headed a pinpoint Luke O’Neill cross wide.

The Dons would regret those misses in the seventh minute of first-half injury-time as Jacob Greaves’ volley was brilliantly saved by Connal Trueman only for Keane Lewis-Potter to nod in the rebound.

Although the visitors threw everything at the Tigers in the second half they were unable to break down a well-organised outfit who look every bit like a side touted to make an immediate return to the Championship.

I think we're starting to see why the hen was knock kneed and the chicken bow legged.

Win on Saturday and we're guaranteed a steal on 2 or 3 of our closest opponents.

I haven't quite got to the stage of waking up in the middle of the night to watch a game, but carry on like this I may well have to.

But to wake up to a win always makes for a happier day, and by the sounds of it, it was a dogged performance. In many ways I like games like this, as watching the defence working well is as entertaining at times as it is with a good attacking performance.

Great to hear Greaves and KLP were involved in the goal, and Greaves sounds as if he is comfortable at this level. Ehab will really be rubbing his hands.

It's hard to criticise too much as a win and a clean sheet you could say he got it right. However, reading that they flooded the midfield and we found it hard to deal with that, would it have been better if, when Coyle had to go off, bring on another centre back and put Emmanuel and Elder as wing-backs and go 352, so we matched them in midfield? Just a thought, not having seen the game, but Terry does seem unable to change things when his preferred setup is not working attacking wise?

As I said it's hard to question Terry's game management too much when you've won and kept a clean sheet.

Top of the league, a good reaction after the Fleetwood capitulation, clean sheet and a win, what's not to like.

Itv still stands... that even if we go back up, that will result in McCant still being in charge. Last night from reading all the posts here, when he needed to change it, all he could think of doing was swapping Magennis for Eaves et al...and even apparently said we were no good in his interview!!!!

I hope that a promotion results in a buyer and a new owner saying thank you and goodbye...
