most violent conduct these days is so timid they shouldn't be sent off . The youth today are a ****ing disgrace . This is how to do violent conduct properly

@Jammy 07
@Gessa

to confirm

I'm not sure, we had a game against "plucky" Huddersfield a couple of years ago where they literally kicked our players in the face:

and stamped on them:

Fair play to them, they didn't even get bookings nor retrospect action for either of them (with the stamp he took a couple of steps, looked and then stood on him) so they were damn good at it.

Top notch sh!t-housery.

Yes, equating an incorrect throw with a season-ending, illegal challenge. I can see why you ducked out of much of this debate Trebs, but if you're happy to be in the remedial corner with Telatio and Big Turd then over you go. I did expect more though.. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

No mate, you quoted the reason as it being the rules and I responded to that. As for the career ending challenge, I think you'd be just as fervent about it even if it hadn't been. So that can't be the reason either.

I could just about get on board with it if a player had gone in with intent to end someone's career. But reckless, no I wouldn't give much of a fck tbh.

I ask the question but it isn't specifically aimed at you. I've honestly never been bothered by an oppo player not beimg sent off when they should've been against us. I don't get worked up over an oppo player scoring an offside goal either. Like I said, I'd feel like somehow it's only to get the man advantage. Whereas I just think uou go into a game expecting to beat the otjer side 11 vs 11 anyway. if you're good enough you'll overcome those discrepencies in the game, and if not, **** happens.

Okay Trebs, as it's you and you're an honest dude, I'll accept that. I can't be arsed to go back to Gerrard's last game against you when he was sent off for retaliating against Herrera, but I do remember a screaming, hysterical United board wailing for him to be deported, never mind sent off. But they were other United supporters, not you. And I'm sure they only had the best interests of the game at heart. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Nope, Newcastle fans have had no money back and are still paying out for this season

Ashley want the money in his account earning him interest

Only they will be getting their money back, for every game that they can’t have access to.

The fact that the credits haven’t been issued yet, is not what you were intimating.

How are the red men refunding their pass holders like? I’m sure you’ll know the details of that.

Fck knows what's going on with STHs. I thought they got money/credit of some sorts for each game they can't atrend.

Every club doing it differently I believe.

Man City aren't doing ST's this year for example, and will give last season's holders priority in any ballots that might happen. Think Leicester fans had to pay a 70 quid fee to hold their seats, which is piss poor imo.

Leeds are well on top here and look a decent team tbf

No, VAR was. Many refs and commentators, indeed all of them, say it was a sending-off. In fact, only a Uniturd-supporting VAR official (true dat), and an FA supporting the procedure in place (and some whataboutery dickeads on an internet chatroom making up their own, top-of-the-head rules) have claimed it wasn't. Now post that ****ing rule like Solid asked you two days ago, there's a good lad.
what, you mean this rule?
  • an offence is committed against a player in an offside position who is already playing or attempting to play the ball, or challenging an opponent for the ball, the offside offence is penalised as it has occurred before the foul challenge
Or are you saying VVD isn't attempting, or challenging, for the ball in this photo?

This isn't a United, Livpl thing. It's just how a lot of fans and managers see it whether it's United, Livpl, Chelsea or Villa for that matter. I remember Martin O'Neil throwing an absolute hissy fit on the touchline when Vidic iirc wasn't sent off for denying a goalscoring opportunity in a League Cup final. And my first thought was, O'Neil you desperate thundercunt. Like he had so little self belief to win against 11. And I'd have thought that even if it'd been Arsenal instead of United he'd done that against. Or when Scholes perfectly good goal against Porto which would've seen us through in a CL QF was ruled offside... and Jose would've been consigned to managing the Portugal national team, but you just think, fck it, **** happens.

Hahahaha, you utter, ****ing moron. So if someone is offside, they are offside whether or not a foul is then committed on them . That does not, absolutely not, negate the fact that serious foul play, under the heading of misconduct, can be penalised and sanctioned whether the ball is in play or not. Just read rule 12, you total cretin.

I've said all over these boards that Prickford's challenge (and Richarlison's) are littered through derby history on both sides. My beef though is with VAR. That and the tossers on here making up rules as they go along. No point in VAR if we're just back to individuals making basic, schoolboy ignorant mistakes because they don't know the rules of the game and they're riddled with their own bias. We may as well bring back Howard Webb if that's the standard. Or make Big Turd a ref.

Yeh I keep forgetting to add, I completely agree about the way VAR is being administered. I still haven't made up my mind on VAR as I think it isn't being applied properly AND they seem to be fcking around with rules to make it easier for those sitting in a dark room administering it rather than what's actually best for the game and instead improving the quality and competence of those using it. It's all back to front imo.
