    Kepa
    James, Silva, Zouma, Dave
    Kovacic, Kante
    Havertz
    CHO,Pulisic
    Werner

Subs. Ziyech, Giroud, Emerson, Tomori, Mount, Willy. ( one for each position )

Mendy is injured, CHO deserves to start after fine game last time, Havertz and Werner to play centrally,. Havertz to run the midfield in place of "Better brakes" Jorginho, and get forward movement going. Ziyech to come in off the bench for his first PL run.

That’s an exciting team that I would like to see play. I fear that Jorginho will het the nod though.
He seems to be one of those players that coaches love and therefor never want to cut.
Havertz has to play a bigger role for us eventually and him and Mason could have a great rivalry in the future.

Agree ,just don't see what Jorghino gives us. No goals, few assists, just good at keeping possession. Can't defend, rarely is the conduit between the back 4 and the front 3. We need more dynamic player than him to feed and spark our billion pound attackers.
I think Mount will become an ally of Havertz, not a competitor. I'm a big fan of his play. I expect him to be close to our most valuable player by seasons end. It's Tammy Abraham I expect to fall away, though if Giroud leaves in January, he might just prove to be a decent striker. Interesting Haarland is now top of the list for next buy, as well as rice. Not good news for Tammy I'd have thought. Up to him to stop faffing about and get stuck in as he has been doing ,to his credit, this season.

Shame, Frank will have to play Kepa now as he has bee sub since Mendy came. Picking Willy in front of him would destroy the lads already fragile disposition.

He had quite a good game for Spain during the week, so fingers crossed he can get out of his slump.

Looks like Silva is out and Chilwell will be fit.,
So Christensen in for Silva, or maybe Dave to play beside Zouma and Chilwell left back??

Kepa will never, ever be a top goalkeeper. He is too frail and does not command the area. How on earth we managed to spend £?????? million on him is beyond me and his attitude stinks. The ??????is too painful to mention.

Generally a keeper is supported by his defence and our defence was/is shoddy. Letting in lots of goals will knock your confidence and lead to more mistakes. It’s a nasty cycle.
I’d like to think that he’d improve with better defenders in front of him but sadly I think he’s too far gone now.

Whole defence was ****, even in a dominant first half. Werner & Havertz look a class apart and Jorginho was very good too as was Kante. Rest... nah I don’t wanna go there.

I thought Kante was below par. Top work rate but terrible passing, gave the ball away all night. Jorghino was outstanding, maybe my "better brakes" nickname spurred him on!!!!! Whatever ,he was looking to get forward movement quickly and looked a different class . Werner Havertz, Mount caused all sorts of problems, but Pulisic was poor, he's a left sided player, not right.Chilwell had a good 1st half then faded and made poor decisions.Dave had a pretty good game. Then Kepa. I didn't blame him for his pulled back tackle after Zoumas' brain dead back pass, had he gone through a penalty was certain. But he was seriously dropped in it by his defenders.Nevertheless he was not great.
The defence became a shambles as Saints put it to them. Christensen and Zouma together were like Eric and Ernie. I'll never pick Christensen again, hope Frank doesn't as well.
Without Silva, the back 4 reverted to the garbage defending of last season, particularly after Saints 1st goal. Silva is the leader and driver we desperately need. Start the search for defenders right now, we will go nowhere without a better spine of defence.

It must be so obvious to Frank that without Silva and Mendy our defence may as well not be there. Going forward we looked so good but at the back it was just pure clownerie.

Well done to saints for not giving up. They knew they could get at our back line with some determination and they deserved those 3 goals.

Just watched a replay and we really fell apart 2nd half. Jorginho who was great 1st half, and Kante who was off song all game for mine, were over run and Romeo was too strong for them. Why Mount was replaced with Reece James is a mystery, he could have dropped back for Kante or Jorginho and got some control back. Hate to say it, another slow and poor call by Frank as well as the mistake of not having any midfielder on the bench, and playing Pulisic on the wrong side.. Frank needs to look at himself as well as his players.
