But then you need a video ref to decide what is level enough to be considered level. Just scrap the whole thing. It’s ****.

I'm all for scrapping the whole thing. If it must continue however, the on-field ref should always make the final decision. With offsides, the VAR people can alert the ref and show him the still picture.

Thing is, he didn't really try to shut up shop as I expected him to.
Spurs just stopped playing.

I think if Sissoko put a bit more effort on getting his head to the ball to the cross for the first goal, the next set of sequences doesn't happen.

Anyway, he got the subs wrong. Bringing Bale on seemed like a sentimental vanity sub. He didn't look fit. Moura shouldn't have replaced Son with Kane and Bale already on the pitch. They were beginning to get overrun in midfield. I would've bought Ben Davies on to help out in front of the back four. I thought this at the time but still didn't expect them to concede three goals in ten minutes.

It’s ****ing great that they did though. And that’s a big match for their fans. Magic.

The Pickford incident gets worse the more you look at it, and you're right about a lengthy suspension as well. I haven't got to the Chelsea match as I've been pausing it and at the moment the Newcastle game is just starting.
Apparently Van Dijk, possibly the best defender currently playing, needs an operation on his ACL due to Pickford’s challenge.

All part of the game I suppose, but I’d be pretty pissed off if I were Klopp. In the olden days that would be that, but in current times, with a significant dent in their PL and CL chances (let’s be honest, van Dijk is what has turned them into Champions, alongside Alisson), the money men could make this a big issue.

Blimey, that might put him out for the rest of the season then?

Davies in front of the back four?
He did bring Winks on to do that.
As for the Bale substitution, he missed a sitter which would of wrapped it up.
Hardly Jose's fault.

Yep, a truly awful challenge by Pickford.
He is a loose cannon.
