Looks like despite saying he wanted 2-3 more a couple of weeks ago, and now we need defensive cover, we won't be signing anybody this week. Problem with signing out of contract players is its likely it will take them 2-3 weeks to get fit at minimum as well...
Do you mean match sharp? I'd agree. If they aren't keeping themselves fit and in top shape looking for a new club then I'd hope we give them a wide berth. It's a long, long season and I'm miles away from even being concerned about our squad. A couple of signings in the next few weeks and the mood around the place will suddenly change, again.
I'm concerned about our CB options seeing we play pretty much twice a week in the league for the next 2 months, and won't have Feeney or Arbie for those, and Wright has already had one serious injury in his 9 months at the club.
nee fecker i have ever seen plays the game like wyke, 'look interested - fall over - scream for foul - look interested - not gonna make it - foul player - look aghast at decision - lumber back into hiding'
Your forgot - ball played into his feet perfectly, miscontrols it, tries to win it back, too far away to even tackle or foul anyone
Dion Sanderson on loan from Wolves linked. Centre back / Right Back. Never heard of him but he played 10 games in second half of last season in the championship on loan at Cardiff. And judging by a search on twitter - Cardiff fans want him back and think he'd be too good for League 1.
You're probably right about the owners. I have no doubt Parkinson has ambition to get us promoted, but you have to add to this that the owners are also 5 bob short of a pound note - as well as having no money
