Northernpowerhouse goes again at his best trip in the 200 musselbro , stable form a slight concern , but he ran well in the silver cup at ayr over 6 , horses behind have come out and won nto, including Musicka last weekend ......8/1
I've got quite a strong fancy for Marshal Dan in this Rudey with Dawson's 5lb claim. Good luck with Northernpowerhouse mate.
i’m a follower of that stable , her horses never seem to run two races alike though , but you lay your hat mate , good luck
Grange Walk 11/1 - 2.15 Kilbeggan. John Ryan has horses running well currently and Grange Walk dropping back in trip makes appeal to me at the price of 11/1. I'm hoping Finny Maguire is positive on board him today and we will know our faith early on with him. He has been ridden several different ways during his 17 race career but I like horses to be prominent at Kilbeggan and if he pops off close to the front in hoping he can land the spoils with the drop back to 2 miles a plus. In division 1 of the handicap hurdle i like Rudy Catrail 3/1 - 3.15 Kilbeggan. He most definitely will be making the running and his latest form reads well, he's routed a hurlde and chase field recently and this race is weak looking so I'm hopeful he can win again today. Good luck today if having a go
Kilbeggan 3.15 Balgowlah Won around this time last year and wasn't disgraced last time out at Navan when back from a break. Handicap mark looks handy. I like the booking of Adam Short who is a talented jockey who could climb up the ladder in the future.
It still has to win Joe. I'm not surprised he's been hammered in the betting, John Ryan had what I think is a similiar type horse win yesterday in Kitty Galore at Limerick and back last Monday Kitty Galore set out to make all and almsot got away with it there but gained the compo yesterday regardless, I was thinking Grange Walk could be given the same instruction to go set the pace and see if anything can get to him. It's great to see the confidence but he still must run and win so fingers crossed.
Grange Walk was punted off the boards but I knew he wasn't winning early on today, a mistake 2 out then made sure of that thought when he missed a hurdle and lost all hope, Kilbeggan is a tight track and you can't make any mistake near the final 2 hurdles and win unless you have a big lead Speaking of big leads, Rudy Catrail was likley one of the easiest winners I'll get, he went off around 25 lengths clear from flag fall and had that commanding lead most of the race, he was finishing tired but the race was sewn up after the 1st circuit and 3/1 was a lovely price today in a very poor race. I'm sure he will be sent for a chase again shortly before the handicapper wallops him in both codes. Good training by Dusty Sheehy and a good ride by the young claimer.
Go on STH pity about Grange Walk but great call on both as anyone following you in could have laid GW for a win win.
Shout, Joe, with Marshall Dan! The 17:10 Windsor is a minefield but have a sneaking fancy for the joint 2nd fav. (atm) Banna.
well done joe , mine was terrible ,lost many lengths at the start , the drift in the betting suggests this was expected , yours was always on the pace and won well , . chapeau
