It was said on Twitter well maybe they're concerned about Mane and Thiago's Covid test. Maybe, but it's all excuses. Something's gone wrong and it's not being sorted out.

but we did beat Leeds unlike Man City .
I do agree that it felt like some of the team thought they just had to turn up at Villa Park & walk off with the points but it may just be that the lack of pre season has meant the team isn't as well drilled as normal and that is causing some of the problems as it is for other clubs .It may also be they just cannot keep up the intensity of the last few years .
We will see as the season passes as it has been a weird start which was predicted .

Well, let's hope we see signs of it soon.

We won the title after 30 years and because of ****ing Covid there's been no victory parade; and there won't be now; and it's too ****ing late and I'm so pissed off about that, too. Bloody joke, all of it.

Why be pissed off about it? It is what it is and there is nothing we can do about it. Why put yourself through unnecessary mental torment?

Kieta out of the derby after testing positive for COVID. Not that he would have tackled anyone anyway. Looks like Thiago will start with Hendo and Widji, subject to no injuries in the internationals and them all keeping away from Kieta.

Not good that another players picked up the virus but not a massive loss for the Everton game, doubt he'd have played anyway.
