Me too. Plus the occasional Welsh Leaguer against the likes of Pontllanffraith and Garw Athletic. The Schoolboys were a force to be reckoned with back in the day.
The school boys are still going strong but how many these days go to progress into making a career out of the game . I wouldn't say the Academy stifled opportunities but I don't think its helped the local kids.
