Nope, I'm asking you what's to think about after watching billboards in small town?

Inception is what I'd call thought provoking, three billboards just ain't.

Not having a go just yet to see anyone tell me why it's good, apart from the usual "good actors Imdb says so" balls

Why mate, you wouldn't get it? OK here goes...

It's a tragedy mate on every level but unpredictable and darkly funny with it.

You've got numerous plotlines all going on but all linking into one central story. The rape and murder of a young girl, the bitter regret of the mother who she constantly fought with, filled with self-loathing but determined to bring her killer to justice. The police chief whose underlying sympathy and admiration for the mother is masked by his frustration at her constant and very public criticism of him. Him trying to control a bunch of inherently bigoted and incompetent police officers in a backwater small-town. His sudden cancer and you see how his story plays out, leading to the subsequent route to redemption of one his officers who despises the mother throughout partly because he admires/loves the police chief and in the ends learns to let go of his hate and despite almost being killed by her becomes her closest ally.

Add to that a great script and moments where the writer fcks with your head like the mother telling her daughter in a fit of rage she hope she does get raped and killed, or the Police Chief saying they never got a lucky break like the crim mouthing off in a bar which later comes to pass. It's brilliantly done.

There's so much depth to the film it's unreal. But yeh if you were expecting Di Caprio in Inception it might not be your thing <laugh>

I like Inception too btw - a great film but even though it's a great film, let me ask you something...

Fair enough I guess, I just found it boring and was disappointed after all the hype about it.

I tried to endure 5 minutes of A Hards Days Night
You sometimes forget how bad the Beatles films really were
Might watch Westworld on TCM
