    KHALOOSY 9/2
Looks good for th 61k on offer . Varian gives Crowley the plate who goes well at track .
Khaloosey was impresive on the straight track at Ascot in similar conditions in June.
After that they raced at Goodwood in good conditions although going well and being hampered i think the conditions didnt compliment .
The last race was at Hadock in soft conditions again going well i think the sharp turn did Khaloosey no favours early on .
So to sumarise it would be no suprise if the drop back in trip to 7f the conditions and the straight track all go in there favour here and the odds as the market leader look to go in the punters favour .

THE NAIL GUNNER 14/1 Kempton 6:15
Improved beyond recognition on latest start and can do so again now upped in trip. Yard have a knack of winning with this sort in this type of race.

    Chepstow 2.10 Group Stage ew

Backed this one when he won at Ludlow last season and I think there could be more to come this season. Stable stats at Chepstow not bad for each way purposes. Yard amongst the winners recently. Conditions should suit today.

Desperate run by Logician. Gosden's two 2yos hardly ran with gusto in the first two at Newmarket. Has he a problem?

Not a great start to the day for TV favourite punters. The banker bet will have seen the bookies’ accounts bolstered with half of the funds of all Yankees and Lucky 15s.

Watching the race I think something went wrong with Logician and he may be lame. As usual, the smaller the field the more traffic trouble they find. The winner closed up the gap on the rail so he had to pull out to go around but was boxed in. Then the horse jinked to the right and Harley looked down and eased him off.

The punters did not want to know the unfortunate Method in the following race at HQ but those that did lose their money on him might have learnt a lesson for this weekend: do not back hold-up horses on soft ground. Well done to Winter Power on making most of the running. The runner up was the only horse to come from off the pace, with the other hold-up horses two of the last three home.

Just the two today ... Everglow in the Chepstow 315 and Indigo Girl at Nmkt, despite the stable's apparent poor showing from 2yo's

Well done. In the first two all the way, picked off the leader inside the two pole and won going away. Another one for De Sousa.

Good grief, a winner. All I did was go on breeding suitability for the soft ground. Dam Sire, Selkirk, loved this sort of going, and Sire, Dark Angel, breeds a lot of soft going winners too.

There used to be the ask princess thread, think it was deleted?
    Anyways,
I was at the Nairobi Polo Club last weekend and got talking to a very interesting chap from Germany but he lives in remote Canada on a huge cattle ranch.
He was treating some of the horses with Acupuncture, said it was an amazing treatment (he would) and fixes many problems quickly with no side effects.
Is this used in UK racing?

It was rumoured that Hendo had practised a form of this at some time ....

Alberta maybe, big cattle province in Canada. Very interesting, never heard of Acupuncture for animals before. Certainly seems to work at times for humans, know of a few people who swear by it.

In terms of acupuncture I’m sure there was a story about a good horse having this and it improved them. Will see if I can pull it from the recesses of my brain
