Been released by AEK Athens. If we had any sort of ambition we would be in for him. Can’t see it though as it doesn’t suit PP’s philosophy of being over 30 or having played for him previously. Exactly the sort of player we need if we want to get out of this division imo, so for that reason we won’t be in for him.

You seen his stats? Or is it because he played well against us?

Because he is a good creative player who tore many teams apart in this league when he played for Coventry, which then in turn got him a move to the championship. That’s why.

No idea, played 14 mins for Athens and scored so don’t think it’s his quality that’s the problem. He would be an instant upgrade on anyone we’ve got, but because he doesn’t run around and shout a lot a few of our fans won’t accept him.

he was already at Wolves mate, he was just on loan to Cov, as he was at Wigan. His contract was terminated by Wolves also
I'm not saying we shouldn't be in for him mind

Didn’t Coventry try and sign his back though? Also not sure he’s good enough for the prem so not surprised Wolves released him. Would be ideal for us imo, certainly an upgrade on Power and Dobson
 
Wages probably an issue. I don't think we'll see any signings for positions we've got cover for even if it's quantity over quality.
