My take on todays big results.
Our game, i fully expected to lose today after our previous showings this season. What i expected was maybe 1-2 not the absolute **** show i witnessed.
No guts, no effort no pride. Totally baffled by it and am glad we weren't playing one of the better teams, this was embarrassing enough it could have been much worse.
Pool game, totally unexpected scoreline AND result. I thought Pool would win this quite comfortably 1-3 or similar. Villa targeted the right side of their defence which any team should do because they don't have one. Arnold and Gomez are not defenders, they are both fast which often pulls them out of the **** but not today.
What really surprised me in this game was the ease with which Villa took the ball off Liverpool, the amount of times a Villa player just stepped between man and ball was incredible.
