Peter Walton is absolutely appalling. Whenever it cuts to him and his “analysis” I know it will just be him backing up what the referee and VAR said, never calling them out. Complete waste of time.
So, the ref on the pitch is wrong, the VAR ref is wrong and a guest ex ref is wrong? Ever thought it might just be you?
Yes. It's not, though. The ref makes a mistake, his mate backs him up, then their public representative claims that they were both right. It happened earlier this year and then the one of their ex-officials undermined them all by saying that they'd all got it wrong. The three **** ups for penalties on the same day springs to mind. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53357841 They don't want to admit their **** ups and it's damaging the game.
So one guy who wants to make a name for himself is right and the others are just backing up their mates
Have you seen those decisions? They're absolutely ludicrous. Nobody agreed with them in the post-match analysis. Fernandes fouled the Villa defender, Ward-Prowse dived really blatantly and King pushed Kane in the back. They were all awful decisions. The Premier League admitted that they'd ****ed it up: please log in to view this image
The only one i can honestly say i have seen is the Bruno one and i accept fully it was wrong. I only ever counter stuff on here because most of it is comical, Spurs rules V real rules
Don’t get me wrong every fan has an element of bias when watching their own team but this is virtually every decision backing up the ref and never calling them out. As PNP has illustrated it would be nice once in a while if they could just admit they got it wrong.
There seems to be some serious collective hubris with football refs on their decision making, which I do not see in rugby.
Yep. Fernandes penalty against us. He dived and VAR saw that he did. Didn't card the cheating ****er, though.
Well if wum is what it's supposed to mean i do quite well The problem is, people don't like a different opinion telling them they are wrong. Scousers i wum (or try to), you lot just wum yourselves when confronted with the truth.
Obviously there have been times but there have definitely been more times when it hasn’t and it should have done. This isn’t just about Spurs it’s a common theme.
You've been proven not only wrong in the last ten minutes, but not having seen the incidents that you're complaining about. The truth is that you're talking **** for attention.
He didn't dive, he fell over when trying to spin(and probably committed a foul in doing so by standing on the defenders foot). Was it a pen, no, was it a dive, no. This is why people laugh at this board.
