People grieve differently. Grief can be a very difficult thing to understand. I can be emotionally caring as a person, but when it comes to grief my brain shuts it down. I never use to understand it, but as I grew older, I saw it as my safety valve. It appears as though I don't care, but I probably care more than most...hence the safety valve scenario.

I lost my old man when I was 19, he was 49 ... it was June 1979 ... heart attack ...boom gone ... in March 1979 I'd lost my beloved Uncle, he was 43 and had been diagnosed with terminal cancer when aged 19 ... only his incredible strength, both physical and mental, enabled him to stay alive as long as he did ... in May 1979 my grandmother, who lived next door to us died of throat cancer ... she'd been in her bed for 3 months after an unsuccessful throat op to remove the cancer ... she was unable to attend her son's funeral as a result ...

I came through it mainly because I had to for the old girls sake ... she'd lost brother, mother and husband in 4 months and her only wobble was immediately after the old man when, with tears in her eyes she asked me "... what are we going to do" ... like I had any ****ing idea ... I was broken ... she forced me to go to Uni that September and indeed we got through it ...

I hadn't realised how much it had quite affected me until the Uni held a 'black and white disco' ... one of my new mates at Uni jokes "what are you going to wear" ... only then did I realise that everything I had to wear was black ... grief is something that effects you consciously and unconsciously ... but you do find a way...

He's about the best there is for speaking up at the moment..... But I get why you don't listen to him.

Like you say its a shame many don't care about what path we follow even if it is detrimental to their way of life

They’ve given him an antibody cocktail that hasn’t even been cleared by the FDA yet.

He must actually be quite ill for them to do that.

    Also, no tweets.

  8. Do you know how many people die in the average flu pandemic?

Do you know where, officially, coronavirus sits on the list of killers, in the UK? Top? 10th? 20th? Lower?

Do you know how many more people are predicted to die of heart disease and cancer in the UK as a result of your obsession with coronavirus? Do you even know how many usually die of those diseases? Do you know how those numbers compare with the massaged coronvirus figures?

Do you even know what day it is, Tobias?

Before I answer any of that, why don’t you explain to the group exactly how your maths works for the claim that 99.99% of people who’ve had coronavirus survive it.

We’ve had over 42,000 deaths (plus the 10k they’ve chalked off as they didn’t die quick enough) so show your workings out for that one?

    I’ll wait.

  11. And?

Those people are at risk from colds and flu, in exactly the same way.

Do you know how many people can't get proper treatment or diagnosis for serious ailments due to your obsession with the coronavirus?

We should always try to protect vulnerable people, but we shouldn't lock down the rest of the world to achieve it, especially when locking people down is not going to stop the virus, but will destroy the lives of far more people than coronavirus.

  13. Are you being serious?

What percentage of 70 million people is 42,000?

    I'll wait.

Actually coronavirus is a threat to unhealthy 60-year-old loners who spend all day online in a depressing cul de sac outside Poole

Again the bit that's bolded. Look fella I know the electric universe model of the cosmo might be what inspires you, but as I see it, there is no need to insult my intelligence, just because your head is stuck in another universe. I protect myself from the virus, that's not an obsession, it's the most practical and sensible thing for me to do. So stop acting the dick with me.

  17. What in the name of the devil's nutsack are you rambling on about? Are you so completely dense that you cannot follow the science?

The Government couldn't maintain its scare mongering with deaths, because it couldn't massage the figures enough to show anything of the kind of magnitude to keep idiots like you in fear.

So, it changed its tactic, dropped the death stats, and turned to number of infections. The prediction was that we would see a doubling of the infection rate every week. But even that hasn't happened. And even if it did happen, rate of infection is clearly not increasing the number of deaths.

Every independent source of any merit is telling us that trying to treat an (at best) mild pandemic with lockdown is ridiculous and futile.

I know that you are clinging to this fake narrative because you will lose a lot of face for having been fooled by it. Get over it ffs and start speaking out against the tyranny that is destroying our culture, our way of life, and the lives of our children.

  18. I refer you to the bit in bold.

    What protection?

Is this the same protection that you take against getting a cold or the flu?

What protections do you take against dying of heart disease or cancer? Or getting hit by a bus?

Do those protections involve locking yourself away? And, not only that, forcing everyone else to lock themselves away and put their lives on hold?

It isn't me insulting your intelligence. You're doing a pretty good job on your own.

Well as you don't know me, and you have no idea of my medical history, what gives you the right to tell me, what I should or should not be doing in regards to my own protection of health. I'm guessing you've been drinking too many G&T's fella, now fook off. <ok>

If he hasn’t tweeted by noon tomorrow EST, it’s time to cash out my next President bet, because presumably Mike Pence gets the gig until November?
